Freetown, 13th July, 2026—The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has proudly celebrated a historic nod for FIFA Central Referee, Aminata Fullah, who has been appointed by CAF to take charge of matches at the TotalEnergies WAFCON in Morocco 2026.

SLFA President Babadi Kamara, on behalf of the Executive Committee, showered praise on Fullah, calling her achievement a moment of collective pride for the nation. He applauded her unrelenting dedication to excellence and wished her a memorable tournament in Morocco, where she will once again showcase the very best of Sierra Leonean talent.

This isn’t Fullah’s first, having already graced the tournament’s previous edition, but her reappointment speaks volumes. It is a powerful validation of her sheer brilliance, sharp decision-making, and unyielding work ethics, qualities that have earned her admiration far beyond Sierra Leone’s borders.

From humble beginnings to the pinnacle of African women’s football officiating, Fullah’s journey is one of grit and grace. She has become a beacon of hope for young referees across the continent, proving that consistency and discipline open doors.
