Freetown, 16th October, 2026 – The Majority Leader and Leader of Government Business in Parliament, Hon. Matthew Sahr Nyuma, has formally tabled the 2025 Annual Report of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) before Parliament.

The report was laid before Members of Parliament during an emergency sitting convened following a presidential summons by President Julius Maada Bio.

The tabling follows the presentation of the report to President Bio in September by ACC Commissioner Francis Ben Kaifala and his team, in compliance with Section 19 of the Anti-Corruption Act, 2008.

Presenting the report on behalf of the Commission, ACC Deputy Commissioner Augustine Foday Ngobie said the document provides a comprehensive account of the Commission’s activities, achievements, progress and challenges during the 2025 reporting year.

Parliament is expected to debate the report in the coming days and make recommendations to strengthen the country’s anti-corruption efforts and support the work of the Anti-Corruption Commission.
