Freetown, 24th November 2025- The Ministry of Information and Civic Education has announced plans to host Sierra Leone’s biggest civic festival from 11th to 13th December 2025, bringing together all government Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) to showcase their developments and initiatives to the public.

Freetown, 24th November 2025-  In a historic move, Sierra Leone joined the world on 17th November 2025 to mark the first-ever Global Action Day to eliminate cervical cancer. The announcement was made by Deputy Minister of Health 2, Dr. Jalikatu Mustapha, who highlighted the urgent need to raise awareness and protect women from the deadly disease.

The Freetown City Council said it will continue working with partners to expand the IWTL project to other communities as part of its strategy to promote improved waste management practices and increase public access to information across the city.
