Makeni, May 27, 2026 — The leader of the DIB Movement and All People’s Congress (APC) flagbearer aspirant, Dr. Ibrahim Bangura, on Wednesday joined thousands of Muslim worshippers in Makeni for Eid‑ul‑Adha prayers, reaffirming his message of peace, unity, and national cohesion.

Dr. Bangura prayed alongside central and local government officials, community leaders, youths, elders, and supporters as Muslims across Sierra Leone and the world marked the sacred festival of sacrifice.

Speaking before the prayers, he urged Sierra Leoneans to embrace peaceful coexistence, mutual respect, and collective nation‑building, consistent with his movement’s mantra: “Heal, Unite and Build.”

He reminded worshippers that Eid‑ul‑Adha embodies values of sacrifice, compassion, obedience, and solidarity  principles he described as essential for fostering national unity and sustainable development.

Dr. Bangura further encouraged citizens to rise above political, regional, and ethnic divides, stressing that Sierra Leone’s progress depends on working together in peace.

His presence in Makeni drew a warm reception from residents and supporters, who praised his continued engagement with communities nationwide and his consistent message of reconciliation and inclusive leadership.
