Freetown, 30th July, 2026 – Miss Sierra Leone 2025, Lachaeveh Davies, has captured international attention with her striking national costume at the Miss Supranational competition in Poland, where she has secured a place in the finals set for July 31.
Her costume, described as a “journey through the heart of Sierra Leone,” weaves together iconic landmarks, cultural symbols, and everyday life. The design features the historic Clock Tower and lighthouse, the strength of the national animal, and the flowing beauty of Mambo Waterfall. At its center stands the silhouette of Mount Bintumani, Sierra Leone’s highest peak, symbolizing resilience and hope.
Beyond natural wonders, the costume celebrates the rhythm of Sierra Leonean life — from breathtaking beaches and fishing communities to the richness of agriculture and the vibrant expressions and slang that define the nation’s culture.
“I wore more than a costume. I carried the spirit of my people, our history, our landscapes, and our identity onto the stage. This was my love letter to Sierra Leone,” Davies said.
Her performance has been hailed as a powerful representation of Sierra Leone’s heritage and identity, blending artistry with national pride. As she prepares for the finals, Davies continues to embody the resilience and beauty of her country on the global stage.
