Freetown, 10th March, 2026 – Household appliance and kitchenware retailer Decakila has expanded its footprint with the opening of a new branch in Goderich, aiming to bring convenient and affordable kitchen solutions closer to customers.

Speaking at the launch, Market Manager Susan Marrah said the new outlet was established to ease the burden on customers who previously had to travel to the company’s head office at Congo Cross. “We want to reduce the pressure on our customers and make sure they can access quality utensils and appliances right in their community,” she explained.

Marrah emphasized that Decakila’s products are reasonably priced, durable, and backed by long warranties, countering perceptions that the brand is unaffordable. “Our goal is to change the public perception and ensure every household has access to appliances that make life easier, faster, and more hygienic,” she added.

Branch Manager Yeanoh Kamara highlighted the company’s broader mission to improve living standards by offering appliances designed to withstand Sierra Leone’s fluctuating power conditions. “From generators and standing fans to cooking equipment and kitchen utensils, our products are built to reduce stress, save time, and beautify homes,” Kamara said.

Decakila also announced plans to open more branches nationwide to make its products more accessible and reduce the challenges customers face in transporting appliances after purchase.

With its expansion into Goderich, Decakila hopes to cement its reputation as a trusted household brand, ensuring kitchens across Sierra Leone are equipped with modern, affordable, and reliable solutions.
