Freetown, 24th November 2025- Nectar Sierra Leone Bulk Terminal (NSBT), a key operator at the Freetown Port under the Sierra Leone Ports and Harbours Authority (SLPHA), has been honoured with a Special Achievement Award at the 2025 International Bulk Journal (IBJ) Awards.

Freetown, 25th November 2025- The Sierra Leone Ports and Harbours Authority (SLPHA) has once again been recognised as the Best Performing Agency under the Ministry of Transport and Aviation (MTA) for 2025. The honour was awarded in acknowledgment of the Authority’s achievements, leadership, and continued commitment to excellence in the maritime sector.

Freetown 24th November 2025- The Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary Education (MBSSE) has confirmed that Senior Secondary School (SSS) 3 pupils will sit exams in 37 subjects during the 2026 West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE). The subjects include 20 new and 17 old ones, drawn from both the old and new curricula.
