Freetown, 19th October 2026 – Orange Sierra Leone has reaffirmed its commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence through a nationwide celebration of Customer Service Week 2026, using the occasion to recognize customer loyalty and strengthen engagement with subscribers across the country.

Held from 5 to 9 October under the theme “Going the Extra Mile,” the week-long celebration brought together customers, employees and stakeholders in a series of activities aimed at reinforcing a customer-centric culture and highlighting the company’s commitment to delivering quality service.

Speaking at the official launch on 5 October, Orange Sierra Leone’s Customer Experience Director, David S. Mansaray, stressed that exceptional customer service extends beyond meeting expectations and requires building lasting relationships based on trust, responsiveness and a genuine understanding of customers’ needs.

He said customer service is ultimately about people serving people and encouraged employees to embrace a culture of continuous learning, collaboration and innovation. He also thanked customers for their loyalty and confidence in the company, emphasizing that customer satisfaction should remain a daily priority rather than a focus limited to a single week of celebration.

The launch featured a video message from Orange Sierra Leone Chief Executive Officer, Aïcha Touré, who reiterated the company’s commitment to customer satisfaction, digital inclusion and innovation.

“At Orange Sierra Leone, we recognise that our customers are the very reason we exist. Without their trust, loyalty and continued support, there would be no Orange. Our customers are at the heart of everything we do, and we never take their confidence in us for granted.

We deeply value their feedback, concerns and recommendations because they provide us with invaluable opportunities to learn, improve and deliver better services. Every customer’s voice matters, and it is our responsibility to listen, respond and continuously strive to meet and exceed their expectations.

Guided by our values of Care, Boldness and Responsibility, we remain committed to putting our customers first, earning their trust every day and going the extra mile to deliver the quality of service and experience they deserve.

To all our customers, thank you for choosing Orange, for believing in us and for inspiring us to become better every day.”

Her message underscored the company’s view that customer satisfaction is a shared responsibility across the organization and that customer feedback continues to shape service improvements and business decisions.

As part of the celebrations, Orange Sierra Leone honored long-standing customers with special gifts in recognition of their loyalty and continued support. Employees also took to communities and public spaces across the country to engage directly with subscribers, thank them for their patronage and listen to their experiences with the network.

The outreach initiative provided customers with an opportunity to share feedback on network quality, service reliability and customer support while offering recommendations on how the company can further enhance its services.

Customers welcomed the engagement and commended Orange Sierra Leone for its contribution to the growth of the telecommunications sector. Many also used the platform to highlight areas where improvements could be made, reinforcing the importance of customer feedback in driving service innovation.

According to the company, the initiative reflected its core values of Care, Boldness and Responsibility, which guide its approach to customer service.

Orange Sierra Leone said the activities demonstrated that customer service goes beyond responding to complaints and involves actively engaging customers, understanding their expectations and translating feedback into meaningful improvements.

The company further emphasized that responsibility for customer satisfaction extends beyond frontline service teams and rests with every employee, regardless of role or department.

As Customer Service Week 2026 concluded, Orange Sierra Leone renewed its pledge to place customers at the centre of its operations while continuing efforts to expand connectivity, enhance customer experience and promote digital inclusion nationwide.

The company said the celebration served as a reminder that “Going the Extra Mile” is more than a theme. It is a reflection of Orange Sierra Leone’s commitment to listening to customers, acting on their feedback and continuously striving to exceed expectations through service excellence.
