Freetown, 13th April 2025- Sierra Leone-born artificial intelligence expert, Albert Patrick Sankoh, has been recognised as a “Trendsetter to Watch” at the Tech 2.0 Conference 2026 held at the Bellagio Hotel, Las Vegas, US, on 8th April 2026.

The award forms part of the conference’s global recognition programme, celebrating innovators whose works are shaping the future of technology.

Sankoh, a full-stack developer and CEO of Yestech Solutions, as well as co-founder of EZ-Tech LLC, has developed several impactful technology solutions across finance, healthcare, and enterprise systems, including digital payment platforms and AI-powered applications.

Speaking after receiving the award, he described the recognition as a reflection of the growing role of African innovators on the global stage.

‘This recognition is not just about me. It is about possibility. The possibility that African innovators, Sierra Leonean innovators, can lead globally,” said Sankoh.

The conference, themed “Innovation in Overdrive: The Artificial Intelligence Race,” brought together global technology leaders, engineers, and entrepreneurs to explore advancements in artificial intelligence.

Sankoh’s recognition highlights Sierra Leone’s growing footprint in the global tech industry and underscores the potential of its emerging generation of innovators.
