Freetown, 15th March 2026- Ibrahim Sory‑Yusuf Kamara, Head of the Mining Desk at Ecobank Sierra Leone, has embarked on a professional secondment with Ecobank Zimbabwe, where he is working alongside Nyoka Isabela, Group Industry Specialist for Mining and Head of the Corporate Banking Mining Team.
The assignment offers Kamara a valuable opportunity to deepen his expertise in mining finance and industry engagement. By immersing himself in Zimbabwe’s mining sector, he is gaining fresh insights, practical skills, and exposure to key industry players that will strengthen his capacity to drive growth back home.
His journey began during the International Women’s Day celebrations in Zimbabwe, where he connected with inspiring colleagues and professionals. The experience underscored Ecobank’s diverse work culture and the collaborative spirit that unites its network across Africa.
