Mile 91, 5th April, 2026-Shock and fear gripped Mile 91 Township on Saturday evening after a suspected fatal animal attack involving a baboon left residents alarmed and authorities scrambling to respond.
According to local sources, the incident occurred around 4:00 PM and involved a young girl who sustained severe injuries. While unconfirmed reports suggest the victim may have died, officials have yet to release an official statement confirming the fatality.
Police officers from the Mile 91 Division intervened swiftly, tracking the baboon and killing it at approximately 10:00 PM to prevent further danger to the community.
