Freetown, 23rd December 2025- The National Revenue Authority (NRA) has launched six branded buses named ‘Waka Fine’ at the Lumley Bus Terminal, featuring taxpayer education messages. This initiative aims to raise public awareness about tax compliance and the importance of contributing to national development through an innovative and highly visible platform.
These buses are uniquely designed to carry important taxpayer education messages, targeting commuters and the general public to enhance understanding of tax obligations and benefits.
The ‘Waka Fine’ campaign leverages the high visibility of public transport to disseminate information on tax compliance in an engaging and accessible manner.
By integrating educational content into everyday travel, the NRA hopes to foster a culture of voluntary tax compliance and highlight how tax revenues contribute to national growth and public services.
