Freetown, 18th March 2026— Dr. Ibrahim Bangura, flag bearer aspirant of the All People’s Congress (APC), has donated 150 bags of rice to mosques and churches across Wards 427, 428, and 429 in Constituency 124 in central Freetown

The gesture, made during the sacred seasons of Ramadan and Lent, is aimed at supporting vulnerable families and strengthening community welfare at a time of deep spiritual reflection. By reaching out to both Muslim and Christian communities, Dr. Bangura underscored his commitment to inclusive leadership and interfaith solidarity.

According to, Dr. Bangura, “True leadership is not about titles, it is about service. In times like these, when families are struggling, it is our duty to stand with them. Whether in the mosque or the church, we are one people, and our strength lies in unity and compassion.”
