The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) will on Monday, July 13, 2026, launch a nationwide U-17 Boys Talent Hunt Programme, marking a major step in its drive to nurture the next generation of football stars. The opening session kicks off at 1:00 p.m. at the SLFA Academy in Freetown, with simultaneous exercises taking place across the country’s four other regions.

The newly appointed Executive Director of the National Sports Authority (NSA), Mohamed Alphaka Conteh Esq., has stated that in line with the mandate given to him by His Excellency, President Julius Maada Bio “is to maintain decorum in sports.”
