Representatives from the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Works, and the Islamic Development Bank lauded the project’s strategic importance, emphasizing its potential to unlock agricultural productivity and economic opportunities across the region.

“There are several ongoing efforts by various government agencies and partners to make it very expensive and nearly impossible for smugglers to use our official ports of entry and exit for drugs,” Dr. Sengeh emphasized. “This is what we’ve been doing, and we will continue to intensify our efforts.”

“The executives earnestly invite your continuous support, constructive ideas, and active participation to sculpt a lasting legacy of unity and purpose together,” he concluded, signalling the commencement of the new administration’s term.

“Environmental protection is a partnership. When citizens align their choices with policy, we move together toward a sustainable future” he said.

Reflecting on their working relationship, Bah shared: “Over the past four years, I’ve had the honor of working closely with General Sesay. He led not only with authority but with humanity. He was firm but kind, always willing to listen. In times of uncertainty, his discipline and wisdom provided clarity.”
