Freetown, 13th October 2026- Former All People’s Congress (APC) National Publicity Secretary Sidie Yahya Tunis has donated four motorcycles, 15 solar lights and building materials valued at more than NLe50,000 to Constituency 101 in Pujehun District as part of efforts to strengthen party structures ahead of the 2028 elections.

The donation, which also includes materials for the rehabilitation of the constituency party office, was presented during Tunis’ tour of APC constituencies in his home district.

Addressing party supporters and officials, Tunis urged newly elected constituency and district executives to set aside differences and work together to strengthen the APC in Pujehun and across the Southern Region.

He emphasized the importance of unity, saying party members must remain focused on building a stronger and more cohesive political platform if the APC is to achieve success in the next general elections.

Tunis assured supporters of his continued commitment to the development of party structures in the district and beyond, pledging that his support would not be limited to Constituency 101.

“I am starting my support to the Southern Region here because this is my home constituency, and they say charity begins at home,” he said. “But be assured that this support will reach every constituency in Pujehun District and other districts in the Southern Region, just as I have done in the past.”

During his visit, the former APC spokesman also held meetings with party members in other constituencies across the district, where he reiterated his commitment to promoting unity among party supporters and strengthening the APC’s presence in the region.

He called on the newly elected leadership to extend an olive branch to candidates who were unsuccessful in the recently concluded lower-level party elections, stressing that reconciliation and inclusiveness are essential for party cohesion.

According to Tunis, bridging divisions within the party and fostering cooperation among members will be crucial as the APC prepares for future political contests.

The donations and outreach meetings form part of broader efforts by the APC stalwart to mobilize support and reinforce party structures in Pujehun District, a region where he has consistently advocated for greater political engagement and organizational growth.
