Conakry, 9th September, 2026 – Sierra Leone’s Vice President, Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh, was a Special Guest at the official launch of Guinea’s new Foreign Policy Document, held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Conakry during his two‑day working visit.
The high‑level ceremony, presided over by Prime Minister Amadou Oury Bah, brought together senior government officials and diplomatic representatives to unveil a framework that will guide Guinea’s international engagement, regional partnerships, and economic diplomacy.
Launching the document, Prime Minister Bah said Guinea’s foreign policy would be anchored on sovereignty, strategic neutrality, economic transformation, peace, and African integration. He emphasized that embassies must serve as platforms for influence, negotiation, economic mobilization, and national visibility, while partnerships will be evaluated based on their contributions to investment, employment, infrastructure, skills transfer, and technology.
Reaffirming Guinea’s commitment to regional stability, the Prime Minister declared: “Africa is our family, the world is our horizon.” He outlined priorities including good neighbourliness, shared security, economic corridors, energy cooperation, and coordinated border management.
Earlier, Prime Minister Bah paid a courtesy call on Vice President Jalloh at the Radisson Blu Hotel, underscoring the close diplomatic relations and growing cooperation between Sierra Leone and Guinea.
