Abuja, Nigeria, 5th December 2025– Dr. Sidie Mohamed Tunis has been honoured with a prestigious award during the 25th Anniversary Commemoration of the ECOWAS Parliament, held at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre.

The award recognizes his outstanding contributions to parliamentary representation, regional integration, and people‑centered governance within the ECOWAS Community. Over the years, Dr. Tunis has played a pivotal role in advancing dialogue and collaboration among member states, reinforcing the Parliament’s mission to promote peace, stability, and sustainable development across West Africa.
