Freetown, 17th March 2026— Amara Brewa, Director General of the National Telecommunications Authority (NatCA), has extended support to both Muslim and Christian communities observing the holy month of fasting. The donations were made at his Hill Station office in Freetown, where representatives from both faiths gathered to receive the gesture.

Mr. Brewa underscored the importance of religious tolerance and peaceful coexistence, urging leaders to continue fostering mutual respect across communities. “Our strength as a nation lies in our ability to live together in harmony, regardless of faith,” he said.

The initiative, officials noted, reflects NatCA’s broader commitment to community engagement and interfaith cooperation. Many of the beneficiaries expressed appreciation, describing the donation as timely and symbolic of unity during a period of deep spiritual reflection.

NatCA representatives emphasized that the effort is part of ongoing programs to encourage compassion, generosity, and inclusivity nationwide. The event highlighted how leaders can engage directly with citizens to reinforce social cohesion and promote values that bind Sierra Leoneans together.
