Freetown, 14th October 2025- Natasha Beckley, the entertainer and political aspirant recently declared wanted by the Sierra Leone Police, has been released on bail pending further investigation into alleged drug-related offenses. Her lawyer, Abdul Karim Kamara Esq., confirmed the release but remained tight-lipped about the terms of her bail.

“The conditions are private,” Kamara told Truth Media, declining to elaborate on the specifics surrounding Beckley’s temporary freedom. The guarded response has stirred public curiosity, especially given the high-profile nature of the case.

Beckley’s legal troubles stem from a June 13 police raid at No. 8 Campbell Lane, off Taylor Street, Fourah Bay Road, Freetown. The operation, led by the Transnational Organized Crime Unit (TOCU), reportedly uncovered nine polythene bags of shredded leaves suspected to be marshmallow, five one-gallon containers labeled “Acetone,” three gas masks, and five old weighing scales—items police believe were used in the production and distribution of Kush, a synthetic drug with growing local concern.

While Beckley’s release offers a temporary reprieve, the investigation remains active. Law enforcement officials have yet to confirm whether formal charges will follow, and the public awaits clarity on the implications of the bail’s confidentiality.
