Freetown, 1st December, 2025 — Entertainment company Cribs International has issued a public apology following an unexpected stage incident during Jamaican artist Christopher Martin’s performance at the One Nation Reggae Festival in Sierra Leone.

In a statement released Monday, the company acknowledged its role in the disruption and expressed regret to the festival organisers, audience members, and partners.

“We sincerely apologise to the organisers, the audience, and all partners for this situation. We understand the concern it caused, and we take responsibility for this technical challenge that happened during our involvement,” the statement read.

Cribs International confirmed that corrective measures have already been taken to prevent similar incidents at future events. The company reaffirmed its commitment to professional service and safe event delivery, while thanking the Ministry of Tourism and its partners for their continued trust.

The One Nation Reggae Festival, which brought together international and local acts, was billed as a major highlight in Sierra Leone’s entertainment calendar. Despite the incident, organisers say the event showcased the country’s growing profile as a destination for music and cultural tourism.

Cribs International concluded its statement by pledging to continue supporting the promotion of entertainment and tourism in Sierra Leone.
