Freetown 23rd February 2026- Conex Energy Sierra Leone has launched a nationwide Ramadan Iftar initiative, transforming its fuel stations into hubs of compassion, prayer, and community during the holy month.
The program, rolled out at nine strategically selected stations, including Kambia 2, Rogbere, Lungi, Kenema, Mile 91, Bo Sewa Road, Makeni Highway, Aberdeen, and Jui 1, offers daily spaces for Maghrib prayer and Iftar meals. These locations were chosen for their accessibility and high community impact, serving both travelers and local residents.
Each evening, the stations provide simple meals, water, tea, and a peaceful environment for worshippers to break their fast. The initiative is designed to support commuters, working families, and surrounding communities, reinforcing Conex’s commitment to spiritual unity and national togetherness.
To ensure safety and order, Conex has implemented measures including designated prayer areas, traffic control, and other protocols. This attention to detail reflects the company’s dedication not only to service but also to the well-being of the people it serves.
More than a corporate gesture, the Ramadan Iftar initiative underscores Conex’s leadership among Sierra Leone’s oil marketing companies (OMCs). By investing in community-centered activities during one of the most meaningful periods of the year, Conex continues to demonstrate its role as more than a fuel provider, it is a trusted partner in the daily lives of Sierra Leoneans.
