Kailahun, 23rd  March, 2026 – All People’s Congress (APC) flagbearer aspirant, Dr. Ibrahim Bangura, has called for unity, discipline, and renewed commitment among party supporters during a vibrant DIB Movement meeting held in Kailahun Town on Monday.

Freetown, 24th March, 2026 – Parliament is set to resume frequent sittings following a long recess, with Speaker Rt. Hon. Segepoh Solomon Thomas announcing a special meeting with the leadership of the All People’s Congress (APC) in his chambers on Wednesday at 1:00 PM.

“Our goal in these engagements is to ensure absolute professionalism and transparency,” the Chief Electoral Commissioner stated. “By engaging our partners early, we are laying the foundation of trust necessary for a credible 2028 electoral cycle.”

Madam Bio, who also serves as President of the Organization of African First Ladies for Development (OAFLAD), landed at Dulles International Airport ahead of the two-day summit scheduled for March 24–25, 2026.
