President Bio Launches 300 Days of Activism to Tackle Maternal Mortality

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, 16th February, 2026-  Sierra Leone’s President Julius Maada Bio has declared a 300-day period of activism as a presidential initiative to accelerate delivery efforts in reducing maternal mortality. He made the announcement on the sidelines of the 39th Ordinary Session of the African Union Assembly, extending an invitation to African leaders and partners to join Sierra Leone in the campaign.
