Freetown, 19th October 2026– Orange Sierra Leone has reaffirmed its commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence after commemorating Customer Service Week 2026 with a series of nationwide activities aimed at strengthening relationships with subscribers and recognizing customer loyalty.

Observed from October 5 to 9 under the theme “Going the Extra Mile,” the event brought together customers, employees and stakeholders in a celebration designed to reinforce a customer-focused culture while highlighting the role of quality service in the company’s operations.

Speaking at the launch of the week-long programme, Customer Experience Director David S. Mansaray said outstanding customer service is built on trust, responsiveness and a clear understanding of customer needs.

He urged employees to embrace innovation, teamwork and continuous improvement, stressing that customer satisfaction should not be confined to special events but should guide everyday interactions with subscribers.

The celebrations also featured a message from Chief Executive Officer Aïcha Touré, who praised customers for their loyalty and confidence in the telecommunications company.

According to the CEO, customer feedback remains a critical tool in shaping service improvements and helping the company respond more effectively to evolving expectations.

As part of the activities, long-standing customers received special gifts in recognition of their support over the years, while Orange staff engaged directly with subscribers in communities and public spaces across the country.

The outreach programme provided an opportunity for customers to share experiences, raise concerns and offer suggestions on network performance, service reliability and customer support. Subscribers also commended the company for its contribution to expanding telecommunications services and digital connectivity in Sierra Leone.

The company said the initiative reflects its core values of Care, Boldness and Responsibility, emphasizing that customer service extends beyond handling complaints and requires active engagement, listening and continuous improvement.

Orange Sierra Leone further noted that delivering a positive customer experience is the responsibility of every employee, regardless of department or position.

As Customer Service Week 2026 concluded, the company renewed its pledge to place customers at the centre of its operations while continuing efforts to improve services, expand connectivity and promote digital inclusion nationwide.

Company officials described the event as a reminder that “Going the Extra Mile” is not merely a campaign slogan but a commitment to listening to customers, responding to their needs and continually improving the quality of services offered across the country.
