A Guinean national, Ms. Diallo brings nearly three decades of development finance experience, including more than two decades with the World Bank Group since joining in 2002. She has held a range of operational and leadership positions, with extensive experience in country leadership, portfolio oversight, policy dialogue, fiduciary assurance, partnership engagement, and fragile and conflict-affected situations across Africa and beyond. Prior to her appointment in Sierra Leone, she served for nearly four years as Resident Representative for Gabon. She also served as Resident Representative for Equatorial Guinea from October 2022 to June 30, 2025.

Ms. Diallo will be based in Freetown where she will lead the World Bank Group’s strategic engagement and Country Partnership Framework across a portfolio of nearly $1.2 billion.
