It aims to bring a fresh perspective of journalism in Sierra Leone that is anchored on the pursuit of Truth and Justice, and to hold public officials accountable in a fair, transparent, and respectful manner as well as to amplify the voices of the people, and to inform and empower them to engage on the issues that affect them.

About Us

TRUTH RADIO 103.9 FM
Radio is still the most pervasive means of reaching the majority of people in Sierra Leone with information as it is affordable, easy, and reliable. People in rural communities mostly rely on radio for information that will help them make informed decisions about their everyday lives.

Truth Radio 101.9 FM, broadcasting across Sierra Leone, focuses on news and current affairs that are centered on public interest issues from politics, governance, the economy, health, agriculture, education, the environment, socio-cultural diversity, and more, as well as promoting peace and national cohesion in the country.

TRUTH TELEVISION (cHANNEL 26)
Television is still developing in Sierra Leone even with new privately owned television stations operating in the country. Coverage is still highly concentrated in the capital, Freetown, and a few major towns while remote communities hardly access anything on television due to the unavailability of electricity.

Truth Television (Channel) is a news and current affairs and edutainment platform built on providing a new wave of television broadcasting through live audience programs, and investigative documentaries.

TRUTH WEEKLY
Sierra Leone’s newspaper market has been polarized with over 500 hundred registered newspapers almost all operating in Freetown. While few publish daily, many newspapers publish either once or twice weekly with low-quality content and layout.

Truth Newspaper is a twice-weekly publication in both hardcopy and digital publication online that is subscriber-based.

We prioritize in-depth analysis of stories, research, investigative reporting, and inclusive representation of diverse voices including minority and marginalized groups. We provide a platform for contributions from commentators and experts in various fields.

TRUTH ONLINE
The media has evolved with online media becoming more easily accessible to a growing audience. While radio is still popular across Sierra Leone, social media platforms such as Facebook, WhatsApp, and X are becoming popular too especially in the capital, Freetown, and major cities and towns, and among influencers and decision makers.

At Truth, we understand the power of social media, the reason why we are running full content on our platform that allows our audience to follow the news at their own pace and convenience. We use Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, X, and WhatsApp to broadcast and share our news and provide an opportunity to interact with our audience.

We are the go-to media outlet for breaking, truthful, and credible news in Sierra Leone.
